Function • The material fed in a dosed manner through the inlet spout is transported into the screening cham ber by the feeding screw and gently swirled th rough the screen cloth by the swirl bars. The coar se material is continuously discharged. • The baffle plate at the end of the screen basket prevents fines from entering the coarse material. • The screen fabric is attached to rings, can vibrate freely and thus cleans itself. It can absorb impacts softly and is therefore largely insensitive to foreign bodies. • Electrostatic charges, which form when screening PVC powder, for example, are eliminated by car bon mesh.
